Hi there! My name is Andie Myers and this is my photography portfolio website. I love taking
photographs and wanted to have a place to show them off, where, as long as you have an internet connection, you can
see them. You don't have to have a Flickr account, Facebook or Instagram. Just the good ol' internet!
My interest in photography started when I went back to school for programming. I was working full time and taking
online, weekend, and evening classes. Up to the point when I started the actual classes for programming...they
stopped offering classes that fit my schedule. My advisor mentioned web design and I reluctantly agreed to try it. I
stayed with it! I graduated with a Digital Media Design degree.
From the start of my first photography class, I was hooked! As you can see from my photos, my favorites are
landscapes and nature shots but I do like to try my hand at macro shots, sunsets, and night photography. I love
traveling around to new places and exploring so my camera goes with me just about anywhere I travel.
A little bit more about me...I was born in Kentucky, raised in Missouri. I moved to Texas for a number of
years, then from there to Ohio for a number of more years. My husband was offered an opportunity to move to Alabama
and we took it! I was in Alabama for about 5 years. Suffered a loss and decided to move back to Missouri to be
closer to my family.
It's funny, I really don't remember exploring Missouri much when I was a kid, so I am now taking this opportunity to
visit the many wonderful places there are in this state. And when the occasion arises, traveling to other states
and getting to visit some wonderful places there too.
